QuantiCure Cure Test Kit
The GEW QuantiCure kit is designed to enhance the performance of UV systems by delivering quantitative information on the degree of cure in the printed ink. It is quick, simple and effective and will help to increase lamp life, reduce power consumption and develop quality control on a new level. The kit tests for through cure, surface cure and adhesion.

The QuantiCure reagent measures the cross-linking in the ink by reacting with the uncured monomer and changing colour accordingly. This colour change can be measured with a densitometer to give a quantitative, repeatable measure of cure. Where a densitometer is not available, the tested sample can be compared by eye to a reference sample.

Quality Control Test
The dyne pen and QuantiCure (chemical stain) tests are quick and simple ways of ensuring constant quality control on the production line. By setting a minimum acceptable quality and comparing all batches quantitatively against this standard, you will be able to ensure surface and through cure quality remain high at all times.Power Reduction Test
Printers often run their systems at full power regardless of ink type, lamp age or line speed. This needlessly wastes power and can even cause problems by over curing. Using the QuantiCure kit, you will be able to reduce lamp power to that most suitable for each application, dependent on all other considerations. In most cases, the lamp power could be reduced by at least 20%, which is a large energy saving if used consistently.Lamp Life Test
Lamps are commonly discarded long before their full working life has run its course; after a set duration, or when they are blamed for a perceived drop in cure quality. However, using the chemical stain test you can check how well the ink is cured and only change the lamp when its output begins to affect curing. This will increase the life of the lamp, reduce replacement costs and lower your environmental impact.
