Global Lamp Power

In this screen the relationship between lamp power and press speed can be set up to suit individual print runs. As the press speeds up from stand still, the lamp power increases to a settable level (%) at a settable press speed (%) as shown in the graph below.

The graph shows a power ramp up to 75% which is achieved at 25% press speed.

Use the + and - keys to set the press speed (%) at which maximum lamp power on ramp up is to be achieved.

When the is shown, auto-power mode is selected and the lamp power will ramp up as per the graph shown above. Press the icon to select manual power mode.

When the is shown, manual power mode is selected and the lamp power will increase to the set level when the UV system is set to ON and an impression signal is received. Lamp power will be independent of press speed. Press the icon to select auto-power mode.
