50-mile Brighton to Havant Charity Yomp

Over 40 participants in the yomp covered the 50 miles along the coast from Brighton to Havant with their 50lb pack over a weekend in July raising altogether in excess of £32,000.

GEW staff member Jason Aldridge successfully completed the 4th Annual 50/50 charity yomp raising a total of £550 for HOWRM & SA (Help Our Wounded Royal Marines and Supporting Arms). Jason was helped by the generous support from GEW (EC) Limited and numerous other staff members at the GEW Crawley head office.

Help Our Wounded Royal Marines and Supporting Arms is a UK based charity, involved in the assistance of wounded Royal Marines and members of their Supporting Arms (any member of the Armed Forces who has assisted the Royal Marines during operations). Founded by former Royal Marine Commando Chris Stubbings BEM in March 2010, Help Our Wounded Royal Marines and Supporting Arms achieved recognised charitable status in February 2013.
