Dunottar School – Raising Money for Motor Neurone Disease and Multiple Sclerosis Charities

The children of year seven at Dunottar School have taken part in many activities to help raise money for these worthy charities; sponsored runs/walks, crazy hat or hair days and mufti days are just a few examples of the imaginative and fun ways they have come up with. The staff at the school have also taken part by cycling on exercise bikes during the lunch breaks. Their challenge is to cycle, walk, run or swim the distance from Dunottar to New York and they are encouraging others to join in with fund-raising events to bump up the mileage.

Spurred on by these wonderful ideas, GEW held a “wear a fancy tie day” and any funds raised will be given to the school for their collection. The company will also be making a donation equal to the sum raised by the children. We wish them every success with their activities.
