Expedition to Kenya – A learning Experience

In July 2011 a small group of pupils from The Warwick School in Redhill will be going on an expedition to Kenya to participate in a project to help sustain a primary school in the small town of Nanyuki. They will be helping with the construction work required to bring the school into the 21st century and will help with teaching and assisting in class and during play times.

Each pupil will have to raise a considerable fund in order to participate in this great adventure and they have been working hard to achieve that goal by bag packing at the local supermarket, washing cars, cooking, cleaning, baby-sitting and by donating every penny of birthday and Christmas money to the fund.

Once again, GEW has contributed and we wish them every success with their expedition.
