A team of seven brave bike riders from HERMA UK undertook a gruelling 300 mile charity bike trip from the HERMA UK headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire, to the steps of Labelexpo Europe 2013 in Brussels where they had the honour of opening the show. GEW gladly sponsored the team whose aim was to raise at least £15,000 for their chosen charities, Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Care and Namuwongo Children’s Charity in Africa.

The eight-day schedule took them to Brussels on a 300 mile route, stopping at Horsham, Tonbridge, Ramsgate, Ostend, Gent and Dilbeek and included a refreshment stop at GEW’s new headquarters in Crawley on day two.

Post Labelexpo, GEW received the happy news that the team completed the course in good time and in high spirits. They raised a staggering amount, just short of £38,000. Well done Team HERMA!
