GEW sponsors Antony Gray – Team Milo

GEW will again be sponsoring Antony Gray in his charity work this year. Having suffered several tragic and premature losses in his close family, Antony is now deeply involved in raising money and awareness for worthy charities and, in particular, The Children’s Trust Tadworth. The trust is one of the UK’s leading units for treating children with brain injuries. Please see below, the “Trans Rockies Challenge for Milo”, and you will see the story behind his support. In Antony’s words, the main focus for the Gray’s fundraising in 2010 is based around the following gruelling events:

South Downs Way Double Challenge & The Virgin London Marathon:

The London Marathon is known to everyone, but most of you are probably not familiar with the ‘South Downs Way Double’.

The South Downs Way Double is the toughest 24 hours challenge in the UK for off-road mountain biking. I recently completed the South Downs Way and it was one of the most exhausting experiences of my life. 100 miles at night, and it took me over ten hours.

The Double Challenge is 100 miles there and 100 miles back. I have 24 hours to complete the 200 miles, and to be honest, the thought of it is pretty terrifying.

If you want to donate, please see the following web pages:

Thanks

Antony Gray
