GEW is pleased to be supporting the local village school with sponsorship this financial year. Nutfield Church Primary School is a co-educational Voluntary Aided Church of England School catering for children in the age range 4-11. It is one of the most highly regarded schools in the locality and received a national School Achievement Award in 2003. Early in 2003 an arson attack completely destroyed the Special Educational Needs and Music Room, including all the pupil records and resources (piano, musical instruments, books etc). Although a grant has been obtained for a new building, the school is required to fund a substantial percentage of the re-building costs. GEW donated a sum of £10,000 towards this worthy cause. We are a business who believes in supporting the local community, by using local suppliers, working with local sub-contractors, employing local staff and investing in the future with the local children.
