Phil Reid – Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile

On Sunday 21st March, GEW’s Phil Reid took part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile at Battlebridge Athletics Track in Redhill. The event was well supported by some 300 runners and the weather was kind that day. Although the event wasn’t a race, Phil decided put his foot down and he actually managed to finish the race in fourth position. Phil raised a grand total of  £209 for Sport Relief, the charity that really helps make a world of difference to people living really tough lives both in the UK and the world’s poorest countries.
