Sponsored by GEW, the Dolphin Badminton Club rounded off a successful season in April 2022. Following a long break enforced by COVID, the group held an intra-club tournament with members competing for the Mark Tracey Memorial Trophy, in memory a former club member. An incredibly competitive evening resulted in one of the closest tournaments in recent history, with Alex Kraus winning by only one point over 2nd and 3rd.
This season has been well-attended at club nights and for matches within Mid Sussex, with all four teams being very competitive in their respective leagues. Men’s A team finished strong in 3rd place, Men’s B team ran close in 2nd, and the Mixed team fought valiantly for 4th place while the Fusion team ran away with it in 1st.
