With some careful planning and a little help from our friends, we are still successfully installing new LED UV curing systems in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown, including for our partner Grafisk Kompani.
If adversity is the mother of invention, our most recent LED UV retrofit is a shining example. This GEW LeoLED system was installed at commercial printers Erik Tanche Nilssen in Norway in late April and is already proving to be integral to the business.
In normal circumstances the installation would be carried out by GEW service technicians but, due to current travel restrictions, this was not an option. An alternative solution was put in place and a team from GEW’s sales partner in Norway, Grafisk Kompani, seamlessly completed the install, commissioning and training program with remote technical support from GEW HQ in the UK.
