Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance are celebrating over 25 years of their life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and GEW (EC) Limited have donated £2000 in recognition of the anniversary and the relentless service for patients who need urgent help.
The charity’s mission is to relieve sick and injured people in South East England and surrounding areas by providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and air ambulance service for the benefit of the community.
Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance responds to over 2,000 emergency calls a year. Over 25,000 missions have been attended since the inception of the air ambulance charity in 1989. The services are available to everyone who lives, works, or is travelling through the region and is provided free of charge to those patients who require them.
