GEW took part in an insightful webinar on 2nd September, entitled ‘Taking the risk out of a UV LED retrofit’. The webinar was presented by NAPCO Media, publishers of the prestigious Printing Impressions and Packaging Impressions magazines and websites. While the discussion was tailored for the benefit of commercial sheetfed offset printers, it will equally be of interest to label and web printers who may be considering an upgrade to UV LED technology.
Whatever the machine type, GEW’s retrofit process is designed to ensure that press downtime is kept to an absolute minimum, by taking a ‘less-haste-more-speed’ approach. More time is spent on the upfront engineering of the system, to ensure that the integration and installation are seamless. The same detailed planning process is methodically followed for every installation, whether it is for a label or sheetfed offset press, coating or converting machine, or for a specialist UV system for an industrial application.
The webinar also investigates how UV LED curing technology can transform a commercial printing business. It uses a variety of sources to outline how printers can transform their shops and greatly improve production capacity, print quality and the pressroom environment, as well as enabling printing on added-value substrates such as mirror board, PP, PTE, and films.
To illustrate, a panel of customers review how GEW’s unique technology for installations, and its after-sales service, eliminates the risk of retrofitting new technology on an existing machine.
Questions addressed include:
- Why is GEW so well placed to disrupt this market?
- What can a UV LED retrofit do for your business?
- Why trust GEW to retrofit your sheetfed offset machinery?
- Why can GEW respond faster than any UV supplier to your service needs?
